Cici the Dog needs a home


STAR is a foster-based rescue. All our rescue animals stay in foster homes until adoption. We do not have a central facility. If you want to meet any of our adoptables please submit an application. 



Cici is a very sweet, playful girl. She is around 1 year old and still has a lot of puppy energy. She gets along well with other dogs.  Loves to play with toys.  She is very curious about cats and chases them, I would recommend a house with no cats.  Cici loves to watch and chase squirrels and loves to play with her foster sibs. She does need to be reminded not to play so rough.  With her love of chasing squirrels her focus can be so strong that we recommend a fenced yard. She is not leash trained, knows how the sit command.  No food aggression.  Up to date on shots and healthy!  With some love, patience, and training this diamond in the rough will shine.




All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped.



AGE DISCLAIMER:
Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don’t bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets’ ages. Sometimes we don’t. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess.
  BREED DISCLAIMER:
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality,
not
by breed label .
Microchips:
For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
